Apple Butter

Ingredients:

  • 32 ounces green apples, peeled, cored, sliced, and pureed

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice

    Directions:

    1. Combine all ingredients and place in saucepan.

    2. Cook uncovered over low heat at least 1 hour to thicken and blend flavors.

    3. Pour into covered container and refrigerate. Use as spread.
