Herb-Seasoned Turkey Patties

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground turkey

  • 1/4 cup chopped onion

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon each dried marjoram, basil and sage leaves

  • 1 egg

  • 4 tablespoons butter

  • thinly sliced cucumber and lemon for garnish

Directions:

Combine turkey with onion, salt, black pepper, marjoram, basil, sage, and egg. Shape into 4 large patties. Heat butter in heavy skillet and add turkey patties. Sautee slowly over medium low heat (about 10 minutes on each side), or until cooked through. Remove to a heated platter. Top each patty with lemon and cucumber slices.

Makes 4 servings.
